Deputy Minister Yanislav Yanchev added: “The consistent quality of Bulgarian wines and their participation in major competitions like CMB promote our country not only as a destination for wine tourism but also as a name recognized worldwide.”

Quentin Havaux, Director of CMB, emphasized that the competition serves both producers and consumers: “CMB supports consumers by providing a guarantee of quality, while also helping producers and traders reach international markets.”
The aroma wheel and sensory profiles of the awarded Bulgarian wines are now featured in national retail catalogues, offering consumers insight into their excellence.
Bulgaria hosted the Sauvignon Selection by CMB 2025 in Burgas, continuing its tradition of partnership with CMB, after previously hosting the main competition in 2016 and Spirits Selection in 2018 in Plovdiv.
