Dry-January: CMB Awards Exceptional No-Low Wines

As Dry-January comes to a close, have you already been tempted by a No-Low wine? During its 2024 Red and White Wines Session, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB) also recognized non-alcoholic or low-alcohol wines. Awarding a No-Low Revelation at the CMB is an initiative primarily aimed at promoting a rapidly growing market within the wine industry, while highlighting the promising quality and diversity of these alternative products.

The best No-Low wine that particularly caught the attention of the judges in 2024 is the Sauvignon Blanc 0.0% 2023 from Divin, which also won a Gold Medal. Created in 2018 by the Villebois Vineyards, Divin offers a range of 0.0% de-alcoholized wines using a vacuum distillation method. Sourced from the Loire Valley, the range is primarily made up of Sauvignon Blanc, complemented by Chenin Blanc, Rosé, and Pinot Noir.
