The CMB introduces a new trophy for no-low wines

For over 30 years, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles has aimed to showcase emerging market trends and 2024 will be no exception. For the Red and White Wines Session due to take place from 7 to 9 June 2024 in Guanajuato (México), a trophy will be awarded to the best no-low wine in the competition. The new initiative aims to turn the spotlight on a booming market segment within the wine industry, and at the same time underscore the quality and variety of these alternative drinks.

We have already had low-alcohol and alcohol-free wines entering the CMB in recent years”, explains competition director Thomas Costenoble. “But as there are increasing numbers of no-low producers taking part, we have decided to dedicate a special trophy to them. Specialist judges will also be selected to assess this category of wines blind to the best of their abilities”.

The new International Revelation trophy comes in addition to existing trophies:

– International Red Wine Revelation

– International White Wine Revelation

– International Oaked Wine Revelation

– International Organic Wine Revelation

Along with national Revelations by country.
