JORDI MARTÍNEZ I LLORDELLA, NEW MASTER SOMMELIER OF THE SPARKLING WINE MASTER 2026
The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles congratulates Jordi Martínez i Llordella and celebrates another edition of a competition that has established itself as a leading reference for sparkling wine professionals in Spain.

Sommelier Jordi Martínez i Llordella, owner of Selecte Wine Store (Guissona, Lleida), has been crowned the winner of the Sparkling Wine Master by Tantum Ergo 2026, whose fourth edition took place as part of Gastrónoma Valencia.
After placing among the competition’s top contenders for several years, Jordi has finally claimed the Master Sommelier title, thanks to his knowledge, technical precision and outstanding expertise in sparkling wine service. As the winner, he will also receive an invitation to take part as an international taster at the next Sparkling Wine Session by CMB.
For the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, this partnership represents much more than an institutional alliance. It is an example of how major international projects can grow by building on strong local initiatives committed to quality.

Sommelier Jordi Martínez i Llordella, owner of Selecte Wine Store in Guissona (Lleida), has been crowned Master Sommelier of the Sparkling Wine Master by Tantum Ergo 2026. The fourth edition of the competition took place on Monday, 26 October, at Gastrónoma, Feria Valencia.
The competition stood out for the exceptionally high standard of its participants and the demanding nature of its challenges, designed to recognise knowledge, technical precision and excellence in sparkling wine service.
According to Frédéric Galtier, Ambassador of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in Spain:
