Wine Paris 2025: Numerous CMB Medal-Winning Producers and a Strong Belgian Delegation
- Stand location for Concours Mondial de Bruxelles: H4D153
- Sample collection stand location: H4A195
From February 10 to 12, 2025, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB) will once again be present at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, the largest international wine event. This year, the CMB will showcase its largest pavilion to date, featuring 120 medal-winning wines from its latest editions.
A strong Belgian Delegation
Among the exhibitors, Belgium will be particularly well-represented with a high-quality delegation, showcasing the dynamism and excellence of its wines. Here are some of the Belgian players not to be missed:
- Château de Bioul : the vineyard of the Château extends over approximately 13 hectares, cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, reflecting a commitment to respecting nature and traditions.
- Wijnkasteel / Genoels-Elderen: Belgium’s oldest winery. This family-run business ensures pure and healthy vineyards, rich in biodiversity. All vintages receive a long barrel and bottle ageing in the castle’s cellars to achieve optimal harmony
- Oud Conynsbergh
- Hoenshof : their main goal is to put Belgian wines more prominently on the map and make them more accessible to a broad audience.
- Domaine viticole du Chenoy : pioneer in Belgium and certified in organic viticulture, thanks in particular to the use of resistant grape varieties.
- Domaine du Chant D’Eole : this project in 2010 when a Belgian wine maker living in Champagne, contacted Hubert Ewbank and his family to buy the family lands… He was looking for some lands with the same characteristics as the ones that can be found in Champagne.
- Domaine Mont des Anges : Born in 2016 from the meeting between a Champagne lady winemaker and a Belgian entrepreneur, it is now a 12 ha vineyard producing 6 cuvées out of 4 Champagne grape varieties. The Blanc the Blanc 2021 was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2024 CMB “We are very proud of it !”.
- Cruysem : The vineyard, located in the Flemish Ardennes and named after the newly merged municipality, consists of plantings of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Meunier.
- Ruffus : the estate was the very first winery in Wallonia with the aim to exclusively produce sparkling wines. The property is equally at the forefront of the wine-growing revival in Belgium and has gradually expanded to reach more than 40 hectares, becoming the largest vineyard in the Kingdom.
